Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice (Grantham University)

The Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice (AA-CJ) Program is offered by Grantham University to students who seek to gain the basic working knowledge of law enforcement, corrections, investigations, and juvenile justice. Graduates have the option to occupy entry-level positions in the criminal justice workforce or pursue further study through advanced degrees in the field. Although the typical students of the program are individuals seeking to enter the criminal justice field, experienced officers who wish to diversify and specialize in a specific area of expertise are also welcome. Students are given an extensive background and understanding of the system. Graduates are expected to be prepared and qualified to occupy positions in the various aspects of law enforcement such as detection, apprehension, detention, pre-trial and post-trial release, prosecution, adjudication, correctional supervision, and rehabilitation of offenders or accused. The program is offered entirely in the online format to enable students to continue with their existing careers while achieving the desired educational goals.
