Individuals interested in pursuing a career in Youth Ministry or other youth work within a religious framework can accomplish their educational goals through the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with a Youth Ministry concentration. The program is offered completely online and offers 24/7 access to course materials. Students will be trained to teach scripture and biblical studies using various methods and techniques particularly to children and youth. Graduates are expected to learn basic counseling, human growth and development, theology, and leadership and communications skills.
Grand Canyon University has redefined faith-based education through its online Christian Studies Program. The Youth Ministry Concentration is offered in both the bachelor’s and master’s levels. Graduates of this particular concentration are expected to be able to design, develop, and implement building a youth ministry. Students are required to complete general education courses as well as Christian Studies courses, and concentration courses. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED. Tuition rate is $ 687.50 per credit.
