The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Career Focus Area in Entrepreneurship Program as offered by Kaplan University is specifically designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills required for the creation and management of their own businesses. Training is focused not only in business operations but also on developing personal and entrepreneurial skills required for effective business management. Prior to establishing own businesses, graduates can utilize acquired learning in business-related careers or choose to participate in businesses owned by family.

A regular bachelor’s degree program requires the completion of one hundred eighty (180) credit hours. Core courses include 100/200 Level Communication Course, 100/200 Level Mathematics Course, 200 Level Communication Course, 300/400 Level Arts and Humanities Course, 300/400 Level Physical Science Course, and 300/400 Level Social Science Course. Required Major Courses include Microeconomics, Business Math, Introduction to Management, Finance, Marketing, Managerial Accounting for Business Professionals, Organizational Behavior, Management Policy and Strategy, Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors or Accounting I, Human Resource Management or Small Business Management, Business Process Management or Operations Management, Managerial Economics or Corporate Finance, Macroeconomics or Global Business, Marketing Research or Marketing Management or Marketing Elective, and Management Capstone Externship or Bachelor’s Capstone Management.

Completing the course requirements are fifty-nine (59) credits of Open Electives. The Advanced Start Option requires the completion of only ninety (90) credit hours due to the credits allowed to be transferred in the case of associate or bachelor degree holders. Applying freshmen must have a high school diploma or an equivalent GED.

The university is duly accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Tuition cost is $ 371.00 per credit hour for regular bachelor’s degree program or $ 425.00 per credit for the Advanced Start Option.
