Online Advanced Start BS in Business Administration – Financial Analysis (Kaplan University)

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Career Focus Area in Financial Analysis Program is offered to individuals seeking careers as financial analysts. Persons holding such position are given the responsibility of assessing a company or industry’s economic performance. Graduates of this program are given the advantage of a strong business foundation which they can utilize in the pursuance of careers in their chosen specialized field. Students are required to complete Core Courses consisting of 100/200 Level Communication Course, 100/200 Level Mathematics Course, 200 Level Communication Course, 300/400 Level Arts and Humanities Course, 300/400 Level Physical Science Course, and 300/400 Level Social Science Course and Major Courses that include Microeconomics, Business Math, Introduction to Management, Finance, Marketing, Managerial Accounting for Business Professionals, Organizational Behavior, Management Policy and Strategy, Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors or Accounting I, Human Resource Management or Small Business Management, Business Process Management or Operations Management, Managerial Economics or Corporate Finance, Macroeconomics or Global Business, Marketing Research or Marketing Management or Marketing Elective, and Management Capstone Externship or Bachelor’s Capstone Management.

Graduates are expected to understand the tools and strategies for controlling both cash and non-cash assets. They should be knowledgeable in financial statement, budget development and investment.
