Kaplan University offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Program with a Career Focus Area in Financial Analysis to individuals interested in becoming financial analysts responsible for the assessment of a company or an industry’s economic performance in relation to making investments. The program provides a solid foundation that prepares students to occupy various positions in the business field while allowing them to specialize in a particular area of expertise. With the completion of a total of one hundred eighty (180) credits, students are eligible to graduate. Students are required to complete Major Courses consisting of Academic Strategies for the Business Professional or Pathways to Academic Success, Accounting for Non-Accounting Majors or Accounting I, Macroeconomics or Microeconomics or Global Business, Business Math, Introduction to Management , Human Resource Management or Small Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Managerial Accounting for Business Professionals, Organizational Behavior, Ethics and Legal Environment or Business Law, Marketing Research or Marketing Management or 300/400 Level Marketing Elective, Business Process Management or Operations Management, Managerial Economics or Corporate Finance, Management Policy and Strategy, and Management Capstone Experience or Bachelor’s Capstone in Management. Financial Analysis Career Focus Area Courses include Managerial Economics, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and Institutions, and Financial Statement Analysis.

Graduates can choose to pursue further studies through a Master’s Degree in Management or Business Administration. They can also occupy various related positions such as financial consultant, cost manager, business analyst, and securities analyst. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
