The Advanced Start Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with an Emphasis in Computer Crime focuses on the basics of computer crime and its possible effects on business and society. The program as offered by Kaplan University also provides learning in computer crime investigation, the legal implications of crime monitoring in cyberspace, computer forensics, and digital asset protection. Computer Crime Emphasis Area Courses consist of Internet Vulnerabilities and the Legal Implications of Monitoring Criminal Activity in Cyberspace, Investigating Cybercrime, Computer Forensics, and Protecting Digital Assets. Total program length is ninety (90) credit hours at a cost of $ 425.00 per credit.
Graduates may find career opportunities in juvenile justice facilities, fraud investigation, parole, probation, corrections or law enforcement. Applicants must have an associate or bachelor’s degree from another field so credits earned from prior leaning can be applied towards the program.
