Online Accelerated BS in Health Science to Master of Healthcare Administration (Kaplan University)
Kaplan University offers the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Health Science to Master of Healthcare Administration Program to undergraduate students who have both the inclination and potential to earn a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. Students are allowed to complete up to two (2) courses in the master’s program while completing the bachelor’s degree. After these two (2) courses are successfully completed with a minimum course grade, they can be applied towards the master’s degree. A shortened or accelerated version is made possible through the waiver of three (3) additional graduate courses.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Science Program curriculum requires the completion of one hundred eighty (180) credit hours. Required Courses include Academic Strategies for the Health Care Professionals, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Diseases of the Human Body, Health Care Administration. Models for Health and Wellness, Introduction to Chemistry-Matter and Equilibrium, 100/200 Level Major Elective, Research Methods for Health Science, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Public Health, 300/400 Level Major Electives, and Bachelor’s Capstone in Health Science. Students are likewise required to complete Core Courses and Open Electives.
The Master of Healthcare Administration is a 55-credit program which includes required courses in Organizational Development for Health Care, Leadership in Health Care, Healthcare Finance and Economics, Health Law, Human Resource for Health Care Managers, Health Care Statistics, Health Care Operations and Quality Assessment, Health Policy, Community Health Assessment, Health Information Management and Assessment, Health Care Ethics, Health Care Marketing and the Master’s Capstone in Health care Administration. Tuition cost is $ 371.00 per credit for the bachelor’s degree program and $ 350.00 per credit for the Master’s degree program. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
