Colorado Technical University is offering a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) degree program with concentration on Network Management that is designed to provide students with a solid foundational knowledge in the fundamental aspects of IT. Through this specialization, students examine the identification and explanation of technical issues involved with network security, and explore the fundamental issues and threats of wireless networking protocols.
The core curriculum of Colorado Technical University’s BSIT – Network Management degree program provides a solid foundation across the major areas within IT. The robust and rigorous project-based course work is designed to equip students with industry-current, firsthand knowledge of the design, development and delivery of high-quality IT projects that would meet management expectations. In addition, students are given the opportunity to acquire a deep knowledge in network management by enrolling in 16 specialization courses specifically designed to add on to their desired subject-area expertise. To ensure that the students receive a well-rounded education, general education courses are included in the program’s curriculum.
Apart from gaining practical experience while acquiring a solid, comprehensive understanding of network management, students will also create a portfolio of their own projects which they can use to demonstrate their knowledge and skills to prospective employers.
