BS in Organizational Management – Christian Leadership (Colorado Christian University)
Colorado Christian University is offering a Bachelor of Science in Organzational management degree program that specializes in the field of Christian Leadership. This degree program, offered through online and on-campus, classroom learning, is geared towards developing strong leaders especially those who are involved in church or para-church ministries.
CCU’s Christian Leadership program combines the principles of organisational behavior with biblical standards of leadership. Students gain practical management skills and critical leadership abilities as well as strengthen foundational knowledge that would greatly benefit the health and growth of, not just church, and para-church establishments, but business organizations and enterprises as well.
The full program consists of 120 credit hours of academic course work and classes are available through online and on-campus learning. Courses are generally offered in 5-week blocks and students who are able to study full-time can complete the major course work in as little as four semesters. A credit hour costs $427.00 and this amount usually does not include the cost of books and other incidental expenses. Financial aid and scholarship packages, however, are in place to help make the cost of education more affordable.
The curriculum of CCU’s BS Christian Leadership program includes key management proficiencies. The focus areas include Christian spirituality and leadership; history and theology in decision making; organizational behavior, health and growth, tools for effective management. There are other courses available that focus on understanding biblical teachings on motivation and ethics, as well as teamwork for effective spiritual leadership.
