Kaplan University offers the Advanced Start Bachelor of Science in Political Science Program to individuals interested in making a difference in government. Students learn the interconnection of government and society in the local, regional, national, and global levels. Required Major Courses include Eight Skills of the Effective Legal Studies Student, Macroeconomics, Introduction to Law, Statistics, Introduction to Political Science, Introduction to Administrative Law, Sociology, Making History-The Founding Fathers, People/Power and Politics-An Introduction to American Government, Constitutional Law, Political Theory, International Relations, 300/400 Level Major Electives, and the Bachelor’s Capstone in Political Science. Accreditation by Kaplan University is provided by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
