Certificate of Learning Medical Coding and Billing (Grantham University)
The Certificate of Learning Medical Coding and Billing is an online certificate program that can be earned within the Associate of Applied Science Medical Coding and Billing Degree after completing 28-credit hours. It is offered by Grantham University backed by its accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council. The program enables students to take the Certified Coding Associate (CCA) Exam for a beginning coding industry certification. Students have the option to complete the associate degree program while working.
Required courses include Student Success, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology, Introduction to Pathophysiology, Introduction to Pharmacotherapy, Computer Software Applications Healthcare, Introduction Health Information Management, Basic Diagnosis Coding Systems, Basic Procedure Coding Systems, and Reimbursement Methodologies.
