In the ever changing, growing field of criminal justice, the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers a variety of courses to help you gain knowledge and skills to meet the demands of the field.

Their Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice will give you an understanding of the nature of crime as well as the personnel, agencies and processes that respond to and prevent criminal activity. By providing both theory and practice, the program will teach you about the many aspects of the justice system including law enforcement, courts, corrections, security and crime scene investigation.

Tuition is $230 per credit hour for Maryland residents and qualifying military personnel and $499 per hour for non-Maryland residents. The degree requires completion of 120 credit hours. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
