The Graduate Certificate in Real Estate Program is offered by Drexel University Online for the purpose of producing professionals who possess a clear perspective of the real issues pertaining to the real estate development industry and its processes. Through this program, students are able to explore the knowledge and skills necessary for the creation, maintenance and building of environments whether for the purpose of working or living and even for entertaining.

Prospective students can use the credits earned from this program for the completion of an MS in Construction Management with a Concentration in Real Estate. Fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, the program tackles relevant issues in real estate development such as design and construction, development law, public policy, project finance, market analysis and real estate as an investment.

Required courses equivalent to fifteen (15) credits include Real Estate Development, Advanced Real Estate Investment and Analysis, Advanced Marketing Research and Analysis, Real Estate Finance, and Legal Issues in Real Estate Development. Students can obtain the last three (3) required credits by choosing one (1) from three (3) elective courses which include Sales and Marketing of Real Estate, Real Estate Economy in Urban Markets, and Real Estate Valuation and Analysis. These courses are expected to provide program graduates of the technical competence as well as the business acumen required for effective industry professionals.

Admissions requirements include a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, official transcripts, letters of recommendation, updated resume, 500-word essay and a completed application. Tuition rate is $ 960.00 per credit.
