MS in Engineering Management (Drexel University Online)

Offered by Drexel University Online, the program essentially teaches students the science of managing technical resources as well as solving problems that involve technical and non-technical staff coordination.

The MS in Engineering Management is a 48-credit program consisting of sixteen (16) graduate courses. The courses are organized in 10-week quarters without necessarily following any specific sequence. There is great flexibility in creating a study plan with regards to the number of courses taken at each term or the number of terms attended for each school year. The core courses comprise a total of thirty-three (33) credits and include Engineering Management Communications, Problems in Human Relations, Economics for Engineering Management, Financial Management, Problems in Engineering Administration, Managerial Statistics, and Operations Research. Students are also required to take fifteen (15) elective courses. The offered Infrastructure Engineering Management Concentration is optional.

Admissions requirements include a BS degree in engineering or sciences with the exception of engineering technology bachelor’s degree, GPA of 3.2 and above for undergraduate work, average GPA of 3.0 for any graduate work completed, official transcripts, two (2) letters of recommendations, resume, 750-word essay on either a technical analysis problem or human resource problem, and completed application. International students are required to submit their TOEFL score which should be 600 or higher. Tuition rate is $960.00 per credit.
