Grantham University offers the Master of Science in Information Management Technology (MS-IMT) in the online format. It is a 36-credit hour program that seeks to provide students with the tools necessary to effectively initiate change in a technological environment. Graduates are expected to be able to manage information systems as well as engage in strategic planning for implementation of information systems in the future.

The course curriculum includes courses in Organizational Behavior, Business Ethics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, Emerging Technologies, Management of Information Systems, Project Management Integration Framework, IT Project Management, eBusiness, Information Systems Strategic Planning, Management in Age of IT Change, and the Capstone Project. Knowledge and skills acquired in these courses can be applied through the Project. The university is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council.

After completion of the program, graduates can look forward to careers in computer software engineering including positions as computer programmers, computer systems analysts, computer network/systems and database administrators, computer scientists, and computer support specialists. Although the program focus is on computer technology, other types of information technology are also covered including telecommunications and data communication. A structured and logical approach to solving problems and issues is presented to participants of the program.

Applicants should have already earned a bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 from an accredited institution. Graduate tuition is $ 265.00 per credit hour which includes textbooks, software and other course materials. Submission of standardized test results such as SAT or GMAT is not required for admission.
