Capella University is offering an online Master of Science (MS) specialization program that aims to sharpen one’s skills and establish a strong base of credentials in the field of executive coaching. This specialization, Leadership Coaching Psychology, allows learners to develop their coaching expertise while completing their Masteral in Psychology degree.

The curriculum of Capella’s MS Leadership Coaching Psychology program, composed of 65 quarter credits, is based on competencies that have been outlined by the International Coaching Federation and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. The core courses and specialization courses focus on psychological theories and practices that would help leaders meet their potential: both professionally and personally. Although the program prepares learners to empower others to reach their potential, this specialization is not designed to meet licensure requirements of those who are in the counseling professions.

Capella’s online MS Leadership Coaching Psychology program is ideal for organizational, clinical or counseling psychologists or human resources professionals. Graduates will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed if they want to develop their own coaching practice, or be more involved with executive coaching and leadership development.
