Hodges University offers the Master of Science in Management (MSM) Program in the online format. The program provides learning of knowledge and skills required for advanced management positions in the contemporary business environment. Students are trained to develop critical competencies in change facilitation, team player development, leading people, and decision-making. Hodges University is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The program has a length of thirty (30) credits. Its curriculum consists of twelve (12) credits of the Management Core Component and eighteen (18) credits of the Track Component. Required Management Core Courses include Strategic Human Resources Development, Managerial Finance: Use and Analysis, and the Management Capstone Project.
Students should select one (1) track among the several offered. The Executive Management Track requires students to complete courses in The Evolution of Organization Dynamics, Leaders and Managers in the 21st Century, Managing Organizational Growth and Development, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Innovative Practices in a Diverse World, and Developing and Managing Strategy in a Global Environment. Required courses for the Human Resources Management Track include Managing the Dynamics of Organizational Development and Change, Training/Development, and Motivation for Adult Learners, Labor Relations/Negotiations and Legal Issues in Human Resource, Compensation and Benefits, Strategic Recruitment/Selection and Retention, and Strategies of Human Resources. The General Management Tracks consists of six (6) selected courses from other MSM tracks, chosen in consultation and approval of the Program Chair.
Applicants must have already earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Tuition cost is $ 615.00 per credit hour for an estimated total cost of $ 18,450.00. Other admission requirements include two (2) recommendations and the Management Admission Test.
