Master’s Degree: MS in Nursing – Case Management (Grantham University)
Grantham University offers the Master of Science in Nursing in Case Management Program in the online format. The program is designed to expand the knowledge and skills of professional registered nurses. Developed in accordance with the Essentials of Master’s Education for Nursing from the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), the program is evidence-based while providing additional knowledge and expertise in areas such as human diversity and social issues, leadership and management, research and professional practice, and health promotion and disease prevention.
The program has a length of thirty-six (36) credit hours. Required courses for the Case Management Emphasis include Foundation Advanced Practice Nursing, Legal and Ethical Issues of Advanced Practice, Concepts of Case Management, Healthcare Systems, Clinical and Administrative Systems, Nurse Research and Evidence-Based Practice, Life Care Planning, Diverse Populations and Healthcare, Case Management Research Seminar, and Case Management Practicum. The university is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of the Distance Education and Training Council.
A master’s degree in nursing is highly recommended for professional and practicing nurses interested in gaining knowledge and skills in a specialized area.
