Master’s Degree in Training and Performance Improvement (Capella University)
Capella University is offering an online Master of Science degree program that focuses on Training and Performance Improvement. This program, based on the American Society for Training and Development’s (ASTD) Human Performance Improvement Model, is designed to teach learners how to apply human performance technology to improve an organization’s productivity levels. Furthermore, Capella’s online MS Training and Performance Improvement program includes valuable certification in ROI Methodology from the ROI Institute: qualifications that would help increase one’s career potential. Capella’s online MS Training and Performance Improvement program is ideal for those who want to pursue advanced training, instruction design or consulting positions in the business industry, health care, government or military services.
The full program consists of 48 quarter credits and these are earned by completing Core Courses, Specialization Courses and 2 graduate level Elective Courses. Topics that will be covered include analyzing system performance; selecting, designing and implementing performance improvement solutions; and evaluating ROI data to support efforts to improve training and performance in the workplace.
Tuition usually does not include the cost of books and other incidental expenses. Financial aid, however, in the form of grants, loans and scholarships are in place and are available to eligible students.
