Baker College is actually a private school college system with 16 campuses located in Michigan. Add to that an online campus and the Baker College System has a total campus count of 17.
Baker College Online, fondly referred to as Baker Online, offers quite a good number of online undergraduate courses in the fields of Accounting, Applied Science (Computer Programming and Web Development), Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Health Services Administration, Nursing, Information Technology and Security, and Psychology. It also offers Online Master’s degree programs in Information Systems, Business Administration, and Occupational Therapy. It also has an online Doctoral program in Business Administration and Online certificate programs for Web Development and Project Management and Planning.
Baker College adheres to a “right-to-try” policy, which means that they practice open admissions. As such they do not require SAT nor ACT test scores. Admission requirements are only as follows:
● High school diploma or its equivalent (GED)
● Test results – only for students without HS diploma nor GED certification
● Completed application form
● $20 application fee – to be refunded if applicant is not accepted
Tuition at Baker College for the SY 2009-2010 ranges from $195 (most undergraduate courses) to $470 (graduate courses) per credit hour. Financial aid is available to students in the form of grants, loans and scholarships.
Baker Online is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Its graduate programs are also accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). It is also a member of the North Central Association
