Bellevue University
In June 1965, members of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce agreed to create a new college in Bellevue to meet the educational needs of the residents of the Offutt Air Force Base and the city’s increasing number of potential college-age students. A year later in 1966, the school, initially called Bellevue College officially opened its doors to the public. Bellevue College became Bellevue University in 1994. In 1996, Bellevue offered an online Master of Business Administration degree program.
The University now operates on 12 locations in five states and has an enviable award-winning online learning platform. Some of the awards received by Bellevue University include the United States Distance Learning Association’s 21st Century Best Practice Award and Best Teaching Online. Leadership Excellence Magazine ranks it among the Top 20 schools in the country.
Bellevue University offers various degree programs in Healthcare, Human Services, Public Safety, Human Capital, Information Technology and Business Leadership. Tuition does not cover incidental costs such as books and laboratory fees.
