Fortis College, formerly known as RETS College, is a multi-campus private institution with 27 campuses, plus an online campus. Its online campus, called Portis Online, is managed by the Centerville Ohio campus, which is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges.

Currently, Fortis Online offers online undergraduate degree programs in Medical Billing and Coding, Accounting, Criminal Justice/Homeland Security, Digital Graphic Design, Business Management (also with specialization in Human Resources), Entrepreneurship, and Medical Administrative Assistant. Fortis Online is also proud of the two newest addition to their online program offerings – Hospitality Management and Internet Marketing.

Fortis Online also offers a certification course in Solar Technology. The online course is a preparatory course for the NABCEP PV Entry-Level Solar Exam. Note that The Solar Technology course is a licensed program by Ohio Dept. of Education, and is not accredited by ACCSC like the other online programs offered by Fortis Online.

Applicants to online programs at Fortis College must satisfy the basic admission requirements, which is just being a high school graduate or pass the GED. Applicants must also submit a completed personal information sheet. Upon evaluation, an admission representative will contact the applicant and inform the applicant of other additional requirements, if any.

Financial aid is available at Fortis College, mainly in the form of grants and low interest loans. The college encourages students to seek other options, aside from financial aid in funding their education.
