Keiser University

Keiser University was founded in 1977 by Dr. Arthur Keiser and Evelyn Keiser in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The couple wanted to establish a career college that would provide students with the skills necessary to meet the growing needs of Florida’s business and health care communities. Since then Keiser has produced over 17,000 graduates and now offers undergraduate and graduate programs at 14 campuses and through distance-learning (online study).
Keiser University’s Online Division offers 14 Bachelors Degrees, 9 Associates Degrees, three masters degrees and one ESOL program. Admission requirements to these programs vary depending on the program specialization and also on the degree level. For example, applicants for graduate-level programs will need to present a Bachelors diploma from a regionally or nationally accredited academic institution, which is not applicable to students applying for admission to an undergraduate course. Undergraduate students will need to present a high school diploma, transcript of records and/or a GED certificate. A placement test may have to be undertaken prior to admission to Keiser University. For more details on the application procedure and requirements, contact the Keiser University Admissions Office.
Tuition at Keiser University is also program-dependent. Undergraduate courses cost less per credit hour than graduate-level courses. Financial assistance in the form of federal and state grants, private scholarships (merit-based or otherwise), and loans are available to qualified and eligible students. More information on student financial aid can be requested from the Keiser University Financial Aid Department.
Keiser University is accredited by the Commission of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and is authorized to award certificates and degrees at undergraduate and graduate levels.
