Lesley University is a private university with urban campuses located in Cambridge and Boston in Massachusetts. Founded by Edith Lesley in 1909 as Lesley School with the main mission of providing professional instruction to kindergarten teachers, the school steadily expanded and became Lesley College in 1945 and Lesley University in 2000.
