Miller-Motte College Online is part of the Miller-Motte College (MMC) system, which was founded in 1916 as a training school for court stenographers. MMC is much bigger now, with an expanded curriculum and fully online degree programs.
MMC Online currently offers 4-year undergraduate degree programs, as well as 2-year degree completion programs. Associate of Applied Science online degree programs available at Miller-Motte Online include Accounting, Criminal Justice, Health Information Technology, Management, Microcomputer Applications, and Paralegal Degree programs. There are also Bachelor of Science online degree programs in the fields on Allied Health Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, and Nursing.
All online programs mentioned above are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Two of the online programs in the field of Allied Health Management, Medical Assisting and Surgical Technology, have also received special accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) of the American Medical Association (AMA).
All applicants for online degree programs at Miller-Motte College are required to be interviewed by an admissions representative. Official high school transcripts or GED certificates are also required to be submitted. A Scholastic Level Exam for assessing the applicant’s special needs and ability grouping are also administered to all applicants. Applicants to Online Allied Health Programs may be required to submit additional requirements.
