Norwich University (NU) was founded in 1819 as the American Literary, Scientific and Military Academy. Located in Northfield, Vermont, Norwich is one of the six oldest Senior Military Colleges and only private military college in the United States.
Norwich University offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs through its seven schools: Architecture and Art, Business and Management, Engineering, Humanities, Mathematics and Sciences, Social Sciences and National Services. Norwich University also offers online degrees through the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies. The online programs available are Masters in: Diplomacy, Military History, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Justice Administration, Public Administration, Business Continuity, Information Assurance, Nursing, and Organizational Leadership. The School of Graduate and Continuing Studies also offers an online Certificate in Teaching and Learning.
