Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is a private, coed research university in Broward County, Florida. NSU is the among the largest non-profit independent universities in the United States. It runs 18 colleges and schools and offers over 175 programs of study in the fields of law, business, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry and nursing. Degree programs can be taken at any of NSU’s three Florida-based campuses, and either off-campus or online through NSU’s distance learning platform.

NSU’s online degree offerings are almost as wide and as variegated as the programs available on campus. Online degrees cover undergraduate, master’s, doctoral courses, as well as graduate certificate programs for further professional development. Of all the online degrees offered, seventy six of these are certified by the Southern Regional Education Board’s (SREB) Electronic Campus. Through this certification, attendees are assured that the online programs are of exceptional quality in terms of content, and are in full compliance with the Principles of Good Practice.

Nova Southeastern University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Florida Legislature classifies NSU as a first-tier research university, and the Carnegie Foundation considers NSU as a Research University. NSU is ranked 535th in the world in the 2010 Webometrics Rankings of World Universities, and the Online Education Database (OEDb) ranked NSU 1st overall for its distance and online learning programs.
