Our Lady of the Lake University Online
Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) was founded in 1895 by the Sisters of the Congregation of Divine Providence. It is a small coed catholic university with its main campus located in San Antonio, Texas. It runs four schools of academic expertise: College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and Leadership, School of Professional Studies, and the Worden School of Social Services. Online degree programs are also being offered by OLLU, and these online courses are administered by the Weekend College Office.
OLLU offers one online Bachelor’s degree (BS Organizational Leadership), and seven online Master’s degrees. The areas of focus of the online masters degrees are: M in Social Work, MS in Information Systems and Security, MS in Non Profit Management, MS in Organizational Leadership, ME in Master Technology Teacher, ME in School Counselling and an MBA in Management.
The online-degree tuition fee does not include additional expenses such as cost of books, and may change without prior notice. Financial aid in the form of grants, scholarships, student employment and veterans assistance (for members of the military) are available to qualified students. OLLU has established a different set of admission requirements for its online courses. Applicants for the online undergraduate degree will need to submit different set of documents to those applying for admission to online graduate programs. Some online programs may have specific admission requirements as well. Our Lady of the Lake University has received accreditation from various professional accreditation bodies such as the Council on Social Work Education, Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs, American Psychological Association, to name a few. The University itself is accredited to award undergraduate, graduate and post graduate degrees by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
