University of the Rockies is a private, for-profit graduate school with a mission to provide high-quality, accessible learning opportunities globally to individuals seeking licensure as psychologists or who practice in other arenas of the profession. Its main campus is housed in a former train station in Colorado Springs, Colorado and it was founded in June 18, 1998 as the Colorado School of Professional Psychology – a name that was changed in September 2007 to the University of the Rockies when the school was acquired by Bridgepoint Education.
Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the University of the Rockies is an independent graduate school offering the Master of Arts in Psychology and the Doctor of Psychology degrees as well as graduate certificates both on-campus and online.
